Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to remove a Google or Facebook sign-in from your Sawplan account and how to ask us to delete your Sawplan account and the data stored with it. It applies to the app at app.sawplan.work.

What Sawplan receives from Google or Facebook

If you choose “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Facebook”, Sawplan receives only what it needs to sign you in: the provider’s account identifier for you, your name and, if you allow it, your email address. We do not receive or keep your Google or Facebook password, access tokens, friends, posts or photos.

Disconnect Google or Facebook

  1. Sign in to Sawplan and open Settings → Security.
  2. Under “Connected sign-in methods”, choose Disconnect next to the provider and confirm it is you.

Sawplan keeps at least one way for you to sign in. If the provider is your only sign-in method, first set a password with “Set password” on the same page (we email you a link) or connect the other provider.

You can also remove Sawplan from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, or from your Google Account under Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services. That stops the provider from signing you in to Sawplan; it does not delete your Sawplan account or projects.

Delete your Sawplan account and data

Email hello@sawplan.work from the email address of your Sawplan account with the subject “Delete my Sawplan account”. If you only have a Facebook sign-in, say so and include the email address shown in Settings. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before acting on it, so nobody else can delete your account.

Deleting your account removes your profile, linked Google and Facebook sign-ins, saved projects and designs, yards, share links, AI conversations and plan records stored by Sawplan. Usage analytics already recorded are kept without a link to your account. Payment records held by our payment provider, Paddle, are governed by Paddle’s own policies.
