Refunds and cancellation

Last updated October 2026.

This page covers refunds and cancellation for paid Sawplan purchases on the app at app.sawplan.work. The free cut calculator does not involve payment.

Who processes payments and refunds

Paid purchases are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and related entities). Paddle is the merchant of record: you pay Paddle, Paddle collects applicable sales tax/VAT, and Paddle issues receipts and invoices. Refunds for Sawplan purchases are handled under Paddle’s Refund Policy (opens in a new tab) and Paddle’s Buyer Terms (opens in a new tab). If anything on this page conflicts with those documents, Paddle’s policy applies.

Refund window

You may request a refund within 14 days of the date of your transaction.

Where local consumer protection laws grant a longer or stronger right (for example the statutory 14-day withdrawal rights for consumers in the European Union, EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom), those rights apply as described in Paddle’s Refund Policy. Nothing in this page limits your mandatory consumer rights.

If you receive a refund, access to the related Pro features or AI top-up units for that purchase will end.

How to request a refund

Request a refund within 14 days of your transaction using one of these methods:

  • Visit paddle.net (opens in a new tab) and select “Request refund”, or use the support link on your Paddle receipt.
  • Email hello@sawplan.work from the email address on your Sawplan account, with your purchase date, amount and whether it was Pro or an AI top-up. We will pass the request to Paddle.

Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval of the request (or as required for a statutory withdrawal).

Cancelling a Pro subscription

You can cancel Pro at any time to stop future renewals:

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Billing.
  2. Choose Manage billing / cancel to open the Paddle customer portal.
  3. Cancel the subscription there.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents further payments. You can also cancel from the Paddle customer portal using the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle confirmation email, or via paddle.net.

If your subscription price is changing — for example when a beta or other discounted price ends — we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not want to continue. Details are in our Terms of use.

Chargebacks

Please contact Paddle or us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Paddle handles chargebacks as merchant of record.
